Outside Sales Representative Position

Plymouth Lubricants has been providing superior products with outstanding customer service since 2001. Headquartered in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, we are certified to distribute lubricants for Citgo, Motorcraft, Shell, and VP Lubricants. Our service area reaches Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, and portions of Iowa, Minnesota, and Missouri.

Plymouth Lubricants is looking for a competitive outside sales representative to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. In this position, you will be responsible for developing your territory by securing new customers selling a premium line of lubricants.

The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing margin and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and researching the competition. You will be an ambassador for the company, becoming a trusted face to our customers while adhering to our company core values and policies. As a member of the team, you will use your strong interpersonal skills to provide service and support to customers while coordinating this with other team members of the company.



  • Create and implement a sales strategy that ensures you meet sales goals

  • Communicate with all current and potential customers providing solutions as needed and oversees all sales activity in assigned sales territory

  • Coordinate with other team members and leaders to generate sales and provide excellent customer service

  • Adhere to all company procedures and policies while displaying company core value traits as a representation of the company to all potential and current customers

  • Maintain and expand client base within assigned territory while reaching desired profitability levels within preferred automotive, heavy-duty, and industrial lubrication sales



  • Minimum 5-years proven sales experience, preferably focused in lubricants industry

  • Self-motivated and driven for personal and company success

  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Computer use competency, especially with Microsoft Office

  • Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Must be willing to sign non-compete agreement and confidentiality statement
