JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must be a self-starter & able to work independently

  • All levels of maintenance and repairs to autos and pick-up trucks

  • Oil changes, brake repairs and annual inspections on our commercial trucks

  • Steel fabrication & welding

  • Any auto bodywork experience is a plus

  • Must have valid driver’s license; CDL a plus

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

  • Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check

Outside Sales Representative Position

Plymouth Lubricants has been providing superior products with outstanding customer service since 2001. Headquartered in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, we are certified to distribute lubricants for Citgo, Motorcraft, Shell, and VP Lubricants. Our service area reaches Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, and portions of Iowa, Minnesota, and Missouri.

JOB SUMMARY

Plymouth Lubricants is looking for a competitive outside sales representative to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. In this position, you will be responsible for developing your territory by securing new customers selling a premium line of lubricants.

The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing margin and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and researching the competition. You will be an ambassador for the company, becoming a trusted face to our customers while adhering to our company core values and policies. As a member of the team, you will use your strong interpersonal skills to provide service and support to customers while coordinating this with other team members of the company.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and implement a sales strategy that ensures you meet sales goals

  • Communicate with all current and potential customers providing solutions as needed and oversees all sales activity in assigned sales territory

  • Coordinate with other team members and leaders to generate sales and provide excellent customer service

  • Adhere to all company procedures and policies while displaying company core value traits as a representation of the company to all potential and current customers

  • Maintain and expand client base within assigned territory while reaching desired profitability levels within preferred automotive, heavy-duty, and industrial lubrication sales

 

Job REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5-years proven sales experience, preferably focused in lubricants industry

  • Self-motivated and driven for personal and company success

  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Computer use competency, especially with Microsoft Office

  • Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Must be willing to sign non-compete agreement and confidentiality statement

Administrative Support Specialist Position

FLSA STATUS:        Full-time Hourly
 

POSITION:             Administrative Support Specialist  
     

REPORTS TO:         Branch Manager

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Essential job duties for this position include those listed below. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.

  • Daily finalization/invoicing of orders, communicating any concerns of short delivery, errors, mis-deliveries, and customer service complaints

  • Answer phones and screen calls in a professional manner and possess the ability to research customer accounts in the AR system for immediate response to the customer

  • Promptly generate orders for delivery and routing

  • Learn customer trends

  • Accurately record all details of the customer order (for example type, volume, taxes)

  • Complete bank deposit slips and record checks

  • Handle mail, distribute and send to corporate if necessary

  • Filing UCC’s and claims

  • Assist with inventory counts

  • Make collection calls as assigned

  • Understand and oversee utilization of the GPS/People Net Tracking Systems as trained and directed and report any concerns back to appropriate managers

  • Provide support services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the Corporate structure

  • Assist with special projects, reports and duties as needed in a timely manner meeting any deadlines set

  • Promote paperless and cost-effective environment

 

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the Administrative Support Specialist must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills, and ability required. 
 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Maintain positive and welcoming disposition in person, on phone, and electronic communications

  • Display effective listening and verbal communications skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and public

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

  • Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry

 

REASONING ABILITY

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid Driver’s License required

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Occasional lifting to 30 lbs. unassisted

  • Frequent bending, standing, climbing, and walking

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  •  May find the environment to be busy, noisy, and distracting. Will need to apply excellent organizational and time and stress management skills to complete required tasks on a daily basis and deadlines assigned

  • Confidentiality is a MUST. Signed Confidentiality Agreement is required for this position
